DetailsISPConfig is an open source hosting control panel for Linux. Websites, email, DNS, databases, FTP and shell users on a single server or spread across a multiserver setup, all managed from one interface.
What it manages
ISPConfig writes the configuration for the daemons that are already on your server. No proprietary stack, no lock-in: the setup stays a normal Linux system you can inspect and repair by hand.
Apache or nginx vhosts, several PHP versions per server with PHP-FPM, Let's Encrypt certificates (RSA and ECC), subdomains, alias domains, redirects and protected folders.
Postfix and Dovecot with virtual mailboxes, aliases and forwards. rspamd spam filtering with greylisting, DKIM signing, DMARC, autoresponders and Mailman lists.
BIND or PowerDNS with a zone wizard, DNSSEC, zone file import and primary/secondary servers. All common record types including CAA, DMARC and SRV.
MariaDB and MySQL databases and users per website. Since ISPConfig 3.3 also PostgreSQL, with phpMyAdmin and pgAdmin access from the panel.
Control dedicated web, mail, DNS and database Service Nodes from one Management Server, or mirror servers for a cluster setup. Physical machines and VMs work the same way.
Separate logins for admins, resellers, clients and mail users. Client templates and limits control what every account can create.
Jailed and regular SSH/SFTP users with key login, PureFTPd accounts and cron jobs, each bound to the website they belong to.
Load, memory and traffic graphs on the dashboard, service status, mail queue and log views, traffic and disk quotas per site.
A SOAP/REST remote API for provisioning from shops and billing systems, and the ispc command line tool for scripted tasks.
Installation
The ISPConfig Autoinstaller sets up the complete server: web server, PHP, mail, DNS, database, FTP, firewall and the control panel itself.
Start from a minimal Debian or Ubuntu installation and pass options to choose nginx or Apache, the PHP versions or a mail-only setup. Updates to a new ISPConfig release are done with one command, too.
# Install on a fresh Debian or Ubuntu server
$ wget -O - https://get.ispconfig.org | sh -s -- --help
# Update an existing installation
$ ispconfig_update.sh
