Extensions
Licensing and purchase
Answers to the common questions about buying and licensing ISPConfig extensions.
How do I buy an extension?
Click Buy license on the page of the extension. The order and payment are processed by our payment provider 2Checkout (Verifone), which accepts credit cards, PayPal and other payment methods depending on your country. After the payment you receive the download link or license key by email.
Are prices including VAT?
All prices are in Euro (EUR) and exclude VAT. VAT is added during checkout for customers in the European Union where required. Payments in other currencies are converted to EUR.
How do I install an extension?
On ISPConfig 3.3 and newer, open System › Extension Installer in the admin login or use ispc extensions on the shell, and enter the license key when you are asked for it. Older extensions like the Migration Toolkit are downloaded as archives and run on the shell; the page of each extension describes the steps.
Do I need a license for every server?
It depends on the extension. The Billing Module needs one license for the ISPConfig Management Server; Service Nodes of a multiserver setup do not need their own license. The Migration Toolkit license covers up to 10 source servers for one year. The details are listed in the license section of each extension.
Are updates included?
Yes, for the period stated on the product page: 12 months for the Billing Module, the full license year for the Migration Toolkit.
Do I get the source code?
Yes. The Billing Module is delivered in source code, and changes for your own use are allowed. Passing the code on to third parties or publishing it is not permitted.
Can I get a refund?
Distance sales in the EU have a legal cooling off period. For downloadable software it ends once the software has been downloaded or the license key has been used. If an extension does not work for you, contact us before you buy another one, and we will look for a solution.
Where do I get an invoice?
2Checkout sends the invoice for your order by email. For questions about orders and invoices, contact [email protected].
